Phil is the Lead Instructor for the Transition Project and designed our groundbreaking 90-minute drama-based session that delivers the Brain Smart message to participants. Phil has worked with young people in theatre for over 25 years having established his own award-winning Theatre School in Essex and Hertfordshire. He is also the Creative Director of his own production company and has over 25 years’ experience as a theatre producer, touring theatre nationally as well as producing pantomime on an annual basis.

Apart from Theatre, his other passion is the promotion of mental well-being, particularly for young people. He is a qualified mental health first aider as well as an accredited instructor for Mental Health First Aid England. Phil is a vociferous advocate of Jamma Wellbeing’s Brain Smart education and strives to bring its message to as wide an audience as possible.

Rosie is the Lead Facilitator for the Transition Project and plays a key role in supporting the behind-the-scenes admin that keeps everything running smoothly. With a background in performing arts, she loves to bring creativity and fun into her work.

Rosie is also a trained Mental Health First Aider, and her true passion lies in raising awareness for mental wellbeing. She is dedicated to helping young people find their voice, feel understood, and realise they're never alone in what they're going through.

Abbie has been involved in the world of theatre and performing arts since the age of 2 and has taught Musical Theatre, Singing and Street Dance for the past 10 years. Having worked in both primary and secondary education in Hertfordshire and Essex, she has seen how the world of performing arts can help build confidence and strong connections amongst young people, improving mental health and overall wellbeing.

As a big foodie and lover of nature, Abbie is an advocate for body positivity and finding joy in the little things which she hopes to be able to pass on to all she meets.

Georgia Collins.jpg

Georgia has been working with young people for over 9 years, teaching theatre and dance in schools and at local clubs around Hertfordshire and Essex. She has also worked on shows with Phil from a young age and now assists with delivering Brain Smart workshops.

As a qualified mental health first aider, Georgia believes it’s important to support young people to develop mental health skills they can carry with them into the future. Her background in education and the arts helps her spread this message with Brain Smart’s workshops.
